How's it going neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com and we're taking a look at the WeatherTech No Drill Mud Flaps for your 2023 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. So if you didn't opt for the OEM Mud Flaps, this is gonna be an easy way to get that additional protection to keep from kicking up mud, rocks, and other road debris on the back of your vehicle. Uses the existing hardware wear from your wheel well cover, and you'll just be able to screw this right in and then lock it right into place. Mud flaps are pretty straightforward, but here at etrailer.com we try to touch every product that we have so you can get an idea of what it's like in your hands just from our videos. So overall the construction of it is a thermoplastic resin. Essentially what that is, it's going to hold up against UV light as well as the abuse of being underneath a pickup truck.
It's designed to not crack or and flex with the vehicle, so that's actually really solid. As far as your installation, it's molded to fit exactly underneath your wheel well as if it was a part of the vehicle. So you're not gonna have any real issues as far as fitment, as long as you're using our fit guide. And the way it's secured on top uses the quick turn latch. This latch is actually gonna class underneath the body panel to hold the top of inline and you're gonna just use your existing hardware to install it.

Real quick install, let me show you how to get it done. Your mud flaps are gonna come with a T 15 bit that you're gonna need in order to remove your hardware from the vehicle itself. With your two bolts removed, we're just gonna align our driver's side with the contour of our truck.
Now we're gonna use our included Allen key to slide over our latch that holds our, the top part of our mud flap in place. And now it's gonna hold it up while I reinstall our screws. It may take a little bit of moving around to get it to bite back in, but once you do, those two screws are gonna go right back into place. Now I found that those clips that hold your screws in place, they may shift, so it wouldn't be a bad idea if you can get underneath the vehicle just to hold it in place while you reattach it to get those threads to bite, but not a huge hurdle to get over. And then from there, you're just gonna fasten both bolts and do the same on the other side.

Flaps are constructed of durable thermoplastic resin with stainless steel fasteners.I am very disappointed with the Weather Tech mudflaps, not because it took forever for them to be delivered (though it did -I was not told by e-trailer that they weren't in stock the day I ordered them), but by the fact when they were finally delivered, they were missing instructions (front mudflaps) and parts (rear mudflap was missing the center screw to the lock; the lock was found loose in the bag. I had to go to home depot to try and find the errant screw - i was not about to send them back and wait some more).
I have a lot of weather tech products on all 4 of our cars as well as full front and rear mats in the truck, and have never had a problem like this before. Both irritating, disappointing and requiring an additional cost of money and time to rectify).
The etrailer packing was excellent, and once i collected all the necessary parts / instructions and figured out how to re-assemble the loose lock, the installation proceeded in an orderly manner though taking longer than anticipated based upon the etrailer video. The quality of the actual flaps looks to be excellent and they look good on the truck. If there had been some visible quality control initially upon opening the packages, I would have given them 5 stars. Unfortunately that is not how it played out.
Just like the description says...easy install, no drill, digital fit. Looks like they came with the truck. Highly recommend.
Did not fit well on the 2022 Dodge Ram 3500. The rear flaps did not quite fit the OEM fender flares on the vehicle. Too tight - not enough clearance to sit nicely against the flares. There was also no hole for the trim fastener so had to drill a 1/4" hole for little plastic fastener - not a big deal. Hoping the front ones fit better, but they were worse. Same story - the "digital fit" flaps did not fit the OEM fender flares. Tried a heat gun to hopefully warm the flap and maybe get them to fit together better, but couldn't quite get it. I'll need to get some longer fasteners, otherwise one bolt and the little plastic tab are all thats holding it on. Maybe if the weather warms a bit...? Def not as advertised.

Look great! Look OEM. Wish all the hardware was black. And in the front the two screws you pull out both sides, trash go get something a little longer and more girth. etrailer was great the arrived earlier then expected.

These mud flaps are great! Good Instructions and install went quickly. They look really good and should perform well, protecting the rocker panels and the side steps from mud and stones. Very pricey but good quality. Front Pair.
This is a good investment. First, etrailer is a great place to get what you need for supplies! The weathertech mud flaps are a great addition to a raised F-250 with larger tires that pulls. This will provide the rest of the protection I need as well as cut down on debris that the tires throw up at other cars/trucks. Very easy to install and if I want to remove them then I have all the pieces necessary except for the push grommets which I can get anywhere. I think I will leave them on for a while....not bad looking either.
I was apprehensive about buying these as the weather tech company said they would not fit. My vehicle has power running boards and 22” wheels..I researched forums and took a chance. They fit…no problem. See attached photos and video.

For someone who is "old school" and reluctant to install plastic onto a machine, I'm impressed with the ease of installation and durability so far. I've put about 7500 miles on them without an issue. Took a little effort to get it to match up with the plastic wheel well fender flares but once I did I have not had any issues. Looks somewhat subtle but is pretty effective at stopping thrown debris onto the paint.

I ordered Weather Tech mud flaps for my GMC Sierra 1500. The front flaps were easy to install by using existing fasteners installed on the truck by GMC. The rear flaps were slightly more challenging requiring the placement of clamps (integral to the flaps) on the rear fender. The entire installation of all flaps required about 45 minutes. they look great and they will protect my fenders from being damaged by road debris.

Seems like a solid product. Made in the USA. The instructions were a bit off. So I jumped on the etrailer YouTube account, found the install video. Issue solved. I will say I'm more impressed with etrailer than weathertech. However, nice fit and finish. I would recommend this product.
I ordered a set of weathertech no drill mud flaps for my new 2022 Colorado and they fit great and easy to install. Well after a couple of weeks I put on GM flares so I had to order another set for flares. Same thing excellent fit and easy install. Quick shipping and good service.
East install on 2023 Thor Compass 23te Motorhome. Fit perfectly. Place some tape on a open end wrench to hole the nut on and you are good to go.
