What's up everybody It's A.J. with etrailer.com. Today we're going to be checking out the Coghlan outdoor clothesline. This is kind of a kit because you get the 25 foot cord to use for your clothes line. You get four anchors. That's one of these.
They're for attachment points to hang stuff on your clothesline, and you're gonna get two tensioners and a bag to store it all in. So, it's good to have one of these outdoors just to hang stuff up, maybe laundry or a lantern or something like that. I kind of set it up in the studio. Yours is going to be way tighter and a better clothesline, but I don't have that much space or tie-down points in the studio. So, I kind of just had to make do.
So here we have the four anchors, right off the bat. I got a mesh bag on this one. I got a etrailer bag right here for a ball mount bag and then a lantern, just to show you the different accessories that you can put on there. Now, one thing I question right away is how these hooks are going to work. The hooks separate like this and come together to make an attachment point.
So if I was to put this mesh bag on here, I would separate the hooks and then come back and put the loop from the mesh bag in those loops. Now it might seem like they move very freely and easily, so I was a little worried about that myself, but I just want to show you that it can hold weight. It's not a problem. Got this wrench here, just going to drop into our mesh bag and show you that these still stay in place. The weight's going to keep the hooks there.
So you don't have to worry about it disconnecting on you when you add weight to it. So I'll remove that wrench now. So those impressed me. I'm glad that they work like they're supposed to, and they easily move back and forth on our clothesline, so you can move them wherever you need them to be. And you can just take them off. You're just going to put the cord through one end here, and then the other. I'll show you right here. They attach really easy. You can take them off really easily, which is good because you're going to be able to set up your clothesline really quick and also take it down pretty quick too. And the same with all the attachments here. Now we have the bag I mentioned before, you have a nice little mesh bag. and when you take everything back down and put it away, it has a nice, neat storage place. And then the tensioners here, how these work, these are also made of aluminum, just like our anchors up here, but these are pretty useful to run the cord through this end, with the hole and then you'll tie a knot there, so then it'll always be attached. And then you can run your cord around a tree or something and put it right back in one of these notches, and you've got a loop. So you can really attach anywhere to anything, which is good when you want to set up your clothesline. So I think it's going to be a pretty useful thing to have. I was really, again, impressed with the anchors as attachment points. They work really well, and I definitely would have that on my clothesline too. Well, thanks for hanging out. And I hope this helped..
