Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at an LED rope light. This rope light has 576 clear LEDs encased in a flexible PVC casing. It comes with the necessary connections and mounts for an easy installation. Overall it measures 52 1/2 feet so the rope light gives you enough length to line truck compartments, storage compartments, tool boxes, cabinets and so on.It attaches easily with the included clips and mounts. So these are really easy to use. You get a little bag of clips.

I believe that it comes with 50 mounting clips. Part of the clip goes around the actual LED light and then the other part of the clip is a tab and that's your mounting tab, so you will need some mounting screws to get that installed.But those mounting clips make it very easy to mount the rope light wherever you want. Also this is a 3.8 amp, 12 volt light that provides 48 to 60 lumens per foot and has an easy plug connection for fast hookup. So it comes with these wire leads right here. I'll take one out and show you.

It comes with 10 power cables and it's a two-prong design.So the prongs push on to the rope light and then the prongs engage right here at the wiring points. So it's a two wire design, two prong design, power and ground. And then you have your bare wires right here so you can run that to a switch or to another plug, whatever you choose. A lot of flexibility when it comes to customizing your own setup with this kit.I also want to mention that the rope light can be cut to length at the marked intervals. So if you look along the actual rope light you'll notice that there's a little scissor indicator or scissor symbol and that is basically indicating the cut mark.

So you can cut to length and customize. You can make a whole bunch of smaller rope lights out of of the one long one or you can cut to length and mate up and match and do whatever you want with this kit.So it's a really nice easy to use system and again, it gives you a lot of flexibility when it comes to customizing what you need for your own application. Again, we're looking at a nice clear housing with clear LEDs. The overall length is 52 1/2 feet. It comes with ten power cables, fifty mounting clips.

It comes with ten end caps and ten center connectors.I'm going to go ahead and hook it up to power. That way we can see what it looks like with some power running to it. And then we'll also turn off our overhead lights so you can see it in a lower light setting. Now it sends out a nice, bright, consistent signal. You can see it kind of has that cool white or blue tint to it.Really great look. We're going to have a total of 576 diodes so that really optimizes the overall light output. And that equates to about 11 LEDs or 11 diodes per foot. And again, when it comes to the lumens that's 48 to 60 lumens per foot as well. And that's going to do it for today's look at the LED rope light.
