Speaker 1: Today we're going to take a look at the 28-foot long booster cables with the blue quick connectors. Now, these booster cables with the quick connectors will allow for a quick connection and fast assistance when jumping a battery. They have this six-foot vehicle side battery cable with the quick connector that will attach to your vehicle's battery. Basically these ends right here will attach to the battery, and this is what you will plug into the booster cables. The cable's polarity protected. It has a nice weather proof plug-in connector, and if you notice, it uses this tethered dust cover to keep the terminals protected.Over here you'll have your booster cables.
These are what will extend 22 feet for accessibility and easy reach. The quick connector on this end is what will plug into that vehicle side cable and then the heavy duty clamps on the other end, they use the pure cooper conductors to attach to the dead battery of the vehicle. And they are designed to either attach to either a side mount or top post batteries. Cable gauge on these is four-gauge. They are fully insulated.
Current rating of the cable is 600 amps. Total cable length is 28 feet. Basically you have 22 feet of booster cables, six feet of battery cables and they do include these two brass battery side posts that you can attach to the vehicle's cable and allow you to attach this quick cable to your battery side post and the other four sizes of bolts and nuts to attach your vehicle's cable and quick connect cable to your battery's top post.So once this is applied or installed to your vehicle, this will be hanging out the front, and then when you go to jump a vehicle, just take off your dust cover there, take your quick connect, plug it right in. Then you'll take your two clamps here, connect it to the vehicle's battery and then you will go ahead and jump it. When you're done, disconnect your clamps, and then it's just simple, unplug your quick connect and you're ready to go.
