Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this seven 16ths inch diameter linchpin. Now, this linchpin can be used for a variety of applications. It can be used as a replacement part, and it also can be used in place of a traditional pin and clip. It's really easy to use.
All you have to do is lift up on the ring, slide your pin, through, push your ring back down, it'll secure it in place. It's all one piece, so you don't have to worry about keeping track of a separate pin and a clip. And then what you do, again, just the pin slides in to your hole. Push that ring down, it secures the connection. This part is made from a durable steel construction.
I do wanna give you a few measurements on this. We're gonna measure the usable length. And the usable length is gonna be measured from under the head to the inside of the ring. So you can see if we do that, you're looking at one and three quarter inches. And then the overall length, which will be measured from under the head to the end of the pin itself, that's gonna be right at two and a quarter inches total length.
But again, just to show you, we flip it open, slide it in, push the ring down, and you're ready to go. But that should do it for the review on this seven 16ths inch diameter linchpin.
