Today we're going to be taking a look at the Oklahoma State Cowboys trailer hitch receiver cover for 2" hitches. Hitch covers are a fun way to show off and they add a nice clean finished look to your vehicle and to the hitch. They also `help keep dirt and grime out of the receiver tube of your hitch. This is an officially licensed product. It's going to feature the chrome plated crystal embedded metal emblem. It's very stylish and durable. The rest of the unit's made from a steel construction that features a black powder coated finish on it to keep it from rusting, fading. Keeps it safe from corrosion. On the back side right here there's a foam gasket.
This is going to help prevent rattle in between the hitch cover and the hitch. It will require a pin and clip or a pin and lock to get the unit installed inside the receiver tube of the hitch. Those items are sold separately. If you're in need of one you can find them at etrailer.com. The pinholes on this hitch cover will accept a standard 5/8" diameter pin. It is designed to slide into a 2" by 2" trailer hitch receiver. Taking a look at the dimensions of the face.

Before I took it out of the box, I could tell that this was a high quality product. The colors are bright and the fit is perfect. The foam seal to keep water out of the hitch was an unexpected nice touch. It looks great on my truck.
Be advised, it does not come with any kind of retaining device, you will need a hitch pin to keep it in place. I purchased a locking pin because something as nice as this would probably get stolen.

Did a lot of research on this product and it came through with flying colors. I ordered this product and one other from another site. This cover was superior in thickness size and chrome. Also the pin opening is large enough for standard 4" pins. If you are considering this product I suggest you don't wait. As for the company, great service. I was contacted shortly after the purchase, tracked the item and was contact about satisfaction after delivery. Outstanding. Will not return item but with their attention to detail I am sure if there were anything of issue the company would be on top of it. Thank you I will be ordering from you again.

Thanks for your message and following up a year later! I have purchased two of these hitch covers for both of our cars. I'll attach pictures. I believe the first one I bought was 2 years ago and the second was a year ago. The two year old cover has shown a great deal of rust and deterioration over those two years. The other one is in much better shape but I would expect the same to happen over this next year.
I do live in Pittsburgh, a very rainy and humid climate for most of the year. Obviously in winter months, we get a lot of snow and ice with the roadways covered with salt. I'm sure those factors contribute to the rusting of this product.
I'll be happy to log in and make a review post similar to above if you would like me to. I have been a happy customer of yours with a few of these similar products.

This was not checked for quality prior to shipping from the manufactor or the seller. My logo is off center at the bottomand over to the passenager side. Also my logo is crooked tilting up toward the passenager side. Tried calling customer service but the line has not been manned since I recieved this product. Overall a disappointing experience.
It is perfect! Black bacgground fits my p/u to a "T" and silver EGA vividly says, "This truck belongs to a U.S. Marine"!!!

The hitch cover is perfect in detail,powder coated with U.S.M.C.enblem and fits a 2" trailer hitch.
Terrible. I received it on Fri, drove up to Tahoe on Mon and hit the slopes on Tues. The logo fell off when I hit my hiking boot (light, day hiker type) against the cover to knock off some snow. I wasn't even wearing the boot, it was in my hand. I didn't even hit the logo itself, or bang it hard. The main receiver cover is otherwise well made and fits snugly.
