Video Transcript for Review of Performance Tool Tools - Tear Wrench 3/4 in Drive - PT74VR

Ellen: Hey everybody. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com, and we're taking a quick look at the Teardrop Wrench. This is going to be an extra long handle to help give you more leverage for especially tight or larger lug nuts and bolts, to make sure that you can get those broken free without any issues. Work's with a 3/4" drive. So you'll have to use those 3/4" sockets to work with this guy. Has a quick on/off and also a nice, quick release to make it really easy to get those sockets off, and to change the direction of travel there.

We turn our ratchet. You can hear how many gear teeth are in there. It is going to be 72. So just to give you that idea. Kind of gives you an idea of the quality of the wrench itself.Again, it's got that little mechanism to switch from one direction to the other.

Pretty easy to use. It looks like it's pretty good quality as far as that goes. And then also again, quick release, that's going to push that socket out, and let you move on to the next one. The overall length of the wrench from end-to-end is about 19 1/2". The swing of the wrench or the distance from where the center of actually where you attach the socket to the end of the handle, that's about 18 3/4".That's really about all there is to it for our quick look at this Teardrop Wrench.

I hope this has helped in deciding if this is the right tool for you. We do have a lot of other options available here at etrailer.com, so check them out. Thanks for watching.

  • Tools Needed To Remove Trailer Hitch Ball From Blue Ox Weight Distribution System
To replace a hitch ball on the Blue Ox SwayPro Weight Distribution # BLU66FR you will need a 1-7/8" 12pt Thin Walled Socket # ALL643216. This socket will fit inside the opening for the nut that fastens the hitch ball. The socket will require a 3/4" Ratchet # PT74VR. You will then be able to replace the hitch ball with a 2" # A-90 or 2-5/16" # C40030 Hitch Ball. Using White Grease Hitch Ball Lube # 58117 will help to reduce damage to the hitch ball as it will shed water from the ball.
