Speaker 1: Today we'll take a look at a Two Inch Forged SAE Trailer Kingpin. This trailer kingpin provides strength and reliability in coupling your fifth wheel. It's forged from AISI 8630 steel, and heat treated to maintain a hardness of 302-363BHN and 150,000 psi in ultimate strength. The kingpin has a half inch thick bolster plate. Again, constructed of forged steel construction; has a nice plain finish on it. The holes right here, take a measurement of those, straight across from one another.
They are separated apart on center by 6 3/4 inches. The overall diameter of this plate is eight inches. Here are the measurements I want to give you real quick. From very bottom to very top, so I'm gonna place a flat edge across the top and I'll measure up to that flat edge. That measures 4 1/2 inches.
From very bottom to the bottom of the top plate, so this base right here, so that's 3 13/16ths inches. This portion has a diameter measurement of 2 13/16ths inches. This portion right, edge to edge, has a diameter of two inches. Then edge to edge right here at the base is three inches in diameter. Again, nice durable steel construction and the product is made in the USA.

Great product, reason for a three is they shipped this 8 pound weight with plastic items and Butyl tape that got all broken apart and squished in shipping.

I welded a hook on the back of this unit and when needed, attach it to our overhead hoist. This make installing the fifth Wheel hitch fully assembled into the truck bed - VERY EASY!

Great replacement for Holland pins
I installed the King Pin into a Goose Neck and customer is very satisfied. I liked the quality of the material the pin is made from. Welding using 1/8" E7018 was a snap!
