Today we're going to take a look at the Flex-a-lite 40 Amp Fuse Holder. This has a 40-amp rating. It is for 12-volt use only. It includes everything shown here. It includes the fuse holder. It includes the 40-amp fuse.
It includes a 12-10 gauge butt connector and a 12-10 gauge ring connector. Nice thing on this fuse holder, if you notice, it has this tethered, hard plastic cap that snaps on over the fuse to protect it. Just to give you an idea of the size of this, overall width on it is going to be about 3" and overall height from the bottom to the very top is about 2-1/2" tall. That should do it for review on the Flex-a-lite 40 Amp Fuse Holder.

So far, this holder has worked well. It appears to be pretty well made, and the cover fits nicely. It's pretty huge though, so if space is a concern maybe consider other options.

- What Gauge Wire is Used on the Flex-a-lite 40 Amp Fuse Holder Part # FLX30357KThe Flex-a-lite 40 Amp Fuse Holder part # FLX30357K uses a 10 AWG wire and yes, the 40 amp fuse included with the kit can be replaced with a 30 amp fuse. However, you will need to purchase the 30 amp fuse separately as we do not sell them. The fuse holder also comes with a butt connector and ring terminal.
