Today we're gonna take a look at the custom base rails and the installation kit for the Demco Highjacker SL series 5th wheel trailer hitches. This is a custom-fit part. It is designed to fit the 2014 and newer Dodge Ram and Ram 2500 trucks, short-bed or long-bed models without the factory rail kit. On a custom-fit part, I always like to recommend for you to go to our website and use our fit guide. Put in your year and model vehicle, and it'll show you if this part'll work for your application. Now this installation kit, it'll let you mount your Demco Highjacker SL series 5th wheel trailer hitch in the bed of your truck. The mounting brackets right here will install beneath your truck bed, and they do provide the attaching points for these above-bed base rails.
These are custom-fit brackets that mount to existing holes in your vehicle's frame. Helps minimize drilling, reduces installation time, and it'll avoid any known obstacles along your truck's frame. The base rails right here is what'll provide the necessary mounting point for your 5th wheel hitch to attach to. All these parts are a nice, sturdy black powder-coated steel to help resist corrosion.
