Base Rails and Brackets Needed to Install the Older Demco Hijacker FWH24PA in a 2017 Ram 2500

Hi, I have a Hijacker FWH24PA hitch and am trying to find the correct rail kit both the be rails and the underneath brackets for it to install in a 2017 Ram 2500, short bed. Do you have a kit available?

I have the perfect solution for you to be able to use the older Demco Hijacker FWH24PA 5th wheel hitch in the bed of your 2017 Ram 2500 with a short bed provided that your truck bed does not already have the factory pucks or any other hitch already installed. Please note that the FWH24PA part you referenced is the number for the head unit only and that there are 2 different style bases that came with that head unit.

The bed rails that are compatible with the Demco Hijacker FWH24PA are listed as part # DM6014 on our site as long as your base installed on rails running side to side. These rails can be used with the Demco Hijacker Premier Series Custom Mounting Brackets # DM8552025 that are confirmed to fit your Ram 2500. If you had rails that run front to back then you need the kit # DM8553016-12 instead. My contact at Demco confirmed that these are the correct base rails and brackets that you will need for your application.

If you do not already have a 7-Way installed in the bed of your 2500 then I recommend installing the Hopkins Endurance 5th Wheel/Gooseneck 90-Degree Wiring Harness with 7-Pole Plug # 41157 to make connecting and disconnecting your 5th wheel trailer much easier. I have attached a video of this being installed on a 2017 Ram 2500 that you can use as a reference.
