Today we're going to be taking a look at the Optronics LED directional drawing light. This is a compact, white, directional light for your vehicle that provides a warning signal for increased safety. This is ideal for towing, plowing, transportation, warehouse and agricultural applications, it meets SAE J845 requirements for Class 2 vehicles, and it's going to feature a single five-flash pattern. You can synchronize this light, so two or more lights can be wired to flash together or in an alternating pattern. Additional lights are sold separately. It's a full LED system. LEDs are long-lasting, they're brighter and they're much more energy-efficient when compared to incandescent lights. The unit's going to feature durable surface-mount technology when it comes to the construction of the LED circuit board.

That's going to better withstand shock and vibration and it allows for improved heat distribution. The unit's going to feature a sonically sealed design, so it's a nice, waterproof unit. It's going to feature an IP67K rating for industry standard protection against dust and moisture. It's got the nice, clear polycarbonate lens. It's impact-resistant, and in the black ABS plastic housing or base. You can permanently install this unit on the mountain surface with the included gasket and mounting hardware, both of those are included.

Take a look at the wiring design, here. This is a three-wire design. Now, right here's it's going to list the colors of the wiring on the back of the housing there, and their function. So, white is ground, red is for power and the yellow wire's for synchronization. Taking a look at the overall measurements real quick, measuring edge-to-edge, going this direction, it's going to give us a measurement of about five and a half inches wide, up and down we're looking at about three and 11 16ths of an inch tall. Overall depth from front to back is one and 11 16ths of an inch deep. The lens area, it's going to measure about four and one quarter inches wide and two and a half inches tall.

The mount holes on the unit, the lower ones and the upper ones are going to be separated on-center by four and three-quarters of an inch. Going this direction, they're separated on-center by two and seven-eights of an inch. Now, the wiring length is going to be around 70 inches long, which is around five feet, ten inches. The unit's going to contain a total of six LEDs or six diodes, power draw 13.5 volts, 0.33 amps. When it comes to the operating voltage, it's going to be 9 volt to 36 volt DC. Optronics puts a lifetime warranty on the LEDs.

We're going to go ahead and hook it up to power. That way you can see what it looks like when it's got some power running to it. We'll also be able to turn off our overhead lights so you can see it in a low-light setting. So, you can see here it's going to feature the single, five flash pattern, really nice, bright design, multi-diode design with the six LEDs provides plenty of light output and that clear lens allows a lot of light to come through.
