Today we're going to be taking a look at part number RN8905, this is the Orion Roadside Emergency Kit. It's going go include some flares and jumper cables. It's going to be a 19-piece kit. This is one of those things that's really going to help provide equipment for roadside emergencies. Sometimes it's really hard to prepare for those emergencies, and this is one of those items that you'd rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it. The durable nylon carrying case is included. It's going to measure 12 1/4" long by 8 1/4" wide and only about 4" deep, so nice compact design.

You can easily store this in your vehicle without taking up much space. It's only going to weigh about 5 to 7 pounds, so it's lightweight as well. Let's go ahead and open it up, take a look at the contents. Here on this side you're going to have 3 flares. There's going to be 2 more on this side so you're going to have a total of 5 flares. Each flare is going to have a burn time of 20 minutes.

Nice design. You're also going to have your instructions. Those are going to walk you through how to operate the flares in those emergency situation. Right here you're going to have your 6" long green lightstick with a lanyard on it so you can wear that or hang that. On this side, again, two more flares, so 5 flares total. Right here you're going to have a set of jumper cables.

These are going to measure 8' long, they're going to be gauge 10 jumper cables. These are going to let you jump start your vehicle's battery. You're going to have a mesh pocket here in the middle with two sides. Here on this side you're going to get one bright orange safety vest, universal fit so one size fits most, bright orange color so it's going to be highly visible and breathable as well. That's just going to help make you more visible to passing motorists or if you're needing to walk that's going to allow people to see your visibility. Nice little vest. On this side you're going to get 2 pairs of latex gloves, that way keep your hands nice and clean.

You're also going to get two shop towels, you can see there, in really compact storage wrappers, open those up, they'll expand a little bit. That way you can absorb any small spills that you may have. Then you're going to get four little towelettes, these are just like little wet wipes, they're going to help clean up little messes as well. Again, this is a 19-piece kit, bag's included, small compact design and again, this thing is just designed to provide the equipment that's needed for those roadside emergencies that we can't always prepare for.
