Hello everybody, this is Jeff with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a look at the 6-way round adapter for the Hopkins Tow Doctor Trailer End Test Unit. Now, this is for quantity of one 6-way round adapter. And with this adapter is it works with the Hopkins Tow Doctor Trailer End Test Unit. Now that test unit, we do sell separate on our website. It's part number HM50928, and I do want to pop up a picture of that unit to show you what we're talking about.

And if you notice on that test unit, on the one end there, this is where this will plug into the test unit. You just push that in, twist this down to connect it, you're ready to go. Basically, what'll happen is this adapter will allow one person to check that the trailer wiring and functions are working correctly. Again, this plugin plug right here will plug into the end of the test unit and then right here you'll plug into your 6-way round on your trailer. This will allow you to test all trailer functions, the right turn, left turn the brake, the tail, the backup lights, electric brakes, and even auxiliary power.

Basically, the trailer lights will illuminate and the LED bulbs will light on the tester to show the function operation. Also, what's nice is for electric brakes the magnets are activated to determine correct operation. And on the tester, they do have an amperage meter that'll show actual amp draw. Now, this one is for the 6-way round plugs. They also offer these adapters to test a 4-way flat, which is part number HM4010509029.

They offer an adapter to test a 7-way round, which is part number HM50944 and the 7-way RV blade connector, which is part number HM4010509031.
