Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at the 7-way blade adapter for the Hopkins Tow Doctor Trailer End Test Unit. Now, this is for a quantity of one 7-way RV blade adapter, and this adapter works with the Hopkins Tow Doctor Trailer End Test Unit, which we sell separately on our website, it's part number HM50928, and I wanna pop up a picture of that, there's that test unit, and you can see on the end of it, that's where this will plug in. Basically, this adapter here will allow one person to check the trailer wiring and functions are working correctly. This then right here you can see will plug into the end of the test unit, and then on this end, you'll plug in your 7-way RV blade connector from your trailer to this. This will test all trailer functions, the right turn, the left turn, the brake, the tail, backup lights, electric brakes, and even the auxiliary power.

The trailer lights will illuminate, and the LED bulbs will light on the tester to show function operation. Also, what's nice is for electric brakes, the magnets are activated to determine correct operation. The amperage meter on the test unit will also show actual amp draw. Now, this one is for the 7-way RV blade style, they also also offer adapters to test a 4-way flat, which is part number HM4010509029, the six way round, part number HM4010509030, and even the seven way round pin connector, which is part number HM50944.
