Hey everyone, I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com, and we're taking a quick look at the Snap-Loc horizontal and vertical E-Track. This is just going to give you a single piece of E-Track, so you can add this really anywhere you'd want it to be, whether you put it in your shop, maybe along your workshop wall so you can have some accessories, an enclosed trailer, utility trailer, really anywhere. It does not come with any mounting hardware. That's just because there's a lot of different configurations, different materials that you're going to be attaching it to, requiring different hardware, so it's really up to you as far as what you want to use to fasten this down.Let's jump in and talk about the measurements and specs to make sure that this is the right fit for your application. It is just the single rail and this measures 32 inches long, pretty much right on exactly 32 inches. See that there.

The rail also measures 5 inches wide if we go from outer edge to outer edge, the mounting flange, so 5 inches wide. The distance between the mounting holes (there's tons along the way here), they are spaced apart by about 11/16 center-to-center between each hole. The height of the rail is about half an inch going from the mounting surface to the top of that rail. So fairly low profile, shouldn't be too much of a tripping hazard if you are going to be mounting this on the floor. There are different orientations to those snaps or that little mounting portions, so you have some that are running horizontal, some that are running vertical or vice versa, depending on how you have it mounted.As far as the safe working load limit, it's rated for 2,000 pounds for this length, and also the break strength is 6,000 pounds.

Of course, you do want to go off of the safe working load limit. That's really the number to pay more attention to. And you want to also make sure that you mount this really securely if you're going to be going close to that max safe working load limit. You'll want to have regular intervals of hardware on both sides. If you're putting this in an enclosed trailer or something like that, you want to make sure that you get a stud for each of those mounting positions to make sure that it's really in there securely and not just mounted to the wall or something that's a little bit flimsier.

You'll want to make sure you're really anchoring off at a safe spot. As far as the size of those mounting holes, they do have a diameter of a quarter of an inch, and this is covered by a limited lifetime warranty. It's galvanized steel so it should resist rust and corrosion for a good while, and it's made in the USA.That pretty much does it for our quick look at the Snap-Loc horizontal and vertical E-Track.
