Today we're going to be taking a look at the Quest Waterproof Media Tray. This media tray allows you to store all types of different items and keep them safe. This would be a great addition to almost any boat or marine application. It's going to feature the slide lock mechanism and on the inside you'll notice that it has the foam that goes around here and the foam that goes around here. When this outer lip presses into this piece of foam, that's going to create that really nice tight seal that's going to keep dirt and moisture out of the anterior of the box. The entire interior is padded so it's going to offer protection to whatever it is that you're storing in here. It's also going to have a divider right there and then you'll notice on this side it has a USB input.
We just want to take a look at some of the dimensions real quick. Starting with the overall dimensions, going edge-to-edge this direction, it's against 00:01:03 our overall length, it's going to 11-3/4 of an inch. Right here at the widest point it's going to give us a measurement of about 4-1/4. Overall depth, the very front to very back, I'd say it's about 7 inches deep. That is a recessed mount installation so this will be recessed like into a dash area so we'll go over those measurements as well. Edge-to-edge that cutout is going to need to measure about 10-3/4 of an inch long by 3 inches wide and about 5-7/8 of an inch deep.
Now, I also took measurements of the inside, edge-to-edge measured 9-7/8. Top to bottom measured 2-3/8 of an inch. Very back to the front, so that inside has a depth of around 6 inches. The USB cord length, this would plug into a USB connection point, kind of re-route it to the one that's located inside the box so it's like an extension. That wiring, that cord length is going to measure around 34 inches long.
