  • Provides a 7-way, blade-style trailer connector at the back of your vehicle to power your trailer's signal lights
    • Compatible with 4-pole, 5-pole and 6-pole adapters (sold separately)
  • Connects quickly and easily - no cutting or splicing of wires

Installation

This custom-fit T-One connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located just beneath your vehicle, on the driver's side.

Once installation is complete, the 7-way connector will be stowed beneath your vehicle, near the trailer hitch. A mounting bracket (sold separately) is recommended to keep the connector secure.

It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease on all electrical connections - the plugs on your automobile and the 7-pole connector itself - to help prevent corrosion.

Great product and great price! No issues since installing on my 2022 Buick Enclave!

Hi. Carol C
I received package yesterday
afternoon the box was opened and the the two items were crushed the wiring harness wasn't opened but the mounting bracket was there was a small clear bag with a few screws and the bracket in the box not sure if that's all the parts . The trailer hitch was ripped through the shipping box. Please look at pictures to see if all parts are there . Just need confirmation so when I install everything is good to go.

Wiring harness fit and easy to install

by:

Easy to install and works flawlessly!

Product was perfect, shipping was beyond slow, took almost a month to receive this item when it stated was in stock. That needs to improve at this point of having to wait we could have went to dealer to purchase.

2019 Buick Enclave

This is a first-rate product. Very simple to install, since I already had the fascia off to install the hitch. My 2019 Buick Enclave already had the vehicle connector, so it was just a matter of locating the connector, removing the dummy plug and plugging in the trailer harness. I used this harness in conjunction with the Curt Trailer Hitch (Item CU29FR), the short no-drill mount (Item 18140) and the Pollak 7-pin mounting bracket (Item PK12711U).

My only complaint is that the harness is much longer than it needs to be, but too long is obviously better than too short.

2019 Chevrolet Traverse

I purchased a draw-tite hitch, wiring harness, motinting bracket and dielectric grease for my chevy traverse. I am very pleased with quality of these products and service. I do not usually take the time to write reviews, unless the company really impressed me. I am impressed how quickly they got this heavy package to me. They put together excellent installation videos on how to successfully install everything yourself. They delivered great customer service when I reached out to them on missing hardware for the wiring harness mounting bracket. They promptly send me the missing parts. I will come back to etrailer in my next hitch project.

2021 Chevrolet Traverse

Fast, easy online order- timely delivery and good pricing.

by:

when I installed the 7 pin wiring harness , it stuck out too far for the hitch cover that attaches to the bumper. however I spun the bracket 180 so it was indented, thus allowing cover to fit. Maybe something to mention.Again overall, super happy with how fast the receiver was shipped. Looks great. While not been used yet, it was a great experience installing myself.

by:

This work great, fit perfectly matched with the dielectric grease made a great weather tight connection. I did have to reverse the bracket to allow it to fit with the bumper cover.
Wish I had ordered the grease and bracket at the same time as recommended, my mistake which delayed the installation.

by:

Easy to install. However, the 7 way plug and wiring harness did not fit as advertised. We had to rig it differently so that we could put the bumper cover back on. Instructions were clear and concise, just didn’t fit perfectly.

2019 Chevrolet Traverse

We purchased a Draw-Tite hitch for a 2019 Traverse. Everything fit perfectly. I had a question about hooking up the 7 way plug cable and the support tech directed me to a video showing how to install the cable. Great service. Thank you!

by:

This wiring harness fit my 2020 Chevy Traverse LT, 3LT perfectly! I was able to get the the factory wiring harness without removing and of the panels, rear bumper, or rear facia. It was a quick plug and play installation. Just unhook the plug on the factory harness and insert this harness in its place. The factory harness is located right below the rear driver’s side taillight. I highly recommend this connector for it’s ease of use and the build quality!

by:

EASY INSTALL FOR HITCH, ALTHOUGH THE 7 WAY WIRING HARNESS 118287 DOES NOT ALLOW FOR THE CENTER PANEL TO GO BACK ON. BRACKET IS HOPKINS HM48625 AND IT SHOULD INCLUDE HARDWARE.

by:

Works perfect

by:

The advice and help from etrailer is the reason I purchased everything I needed to install a hitch. I highly recommend etrailer

Just what I needed for my 2019 Buick En clave

by:
2020 Chevrolet Traverse

The wires on the plug are so long and it was difficult to get it to stay in place in order to reinstall the bumper. I had to wrap it around the hitch and then fold the rest onto itself and zip tie it in place.

Don't bother wasting your time with this garbage!

by:

Received this product and installed it. It is extremely easy to install as the harness plugs directly into the manufactures plug and works very well. I would definitely purchase another if the need arises.

by:

Received my trailer wiring before expected. Ashley and E trailer have saved my holiday. Thank you

by:

In my application I had to modify the mount to get the hitch cover to fit when not in use.

by:

Worked as advertised. eTrailer did a good instructional video on how to install on my vehicle that made installation easy. Thank you.

by:

Perfect trailer hitch at a great price.

by:

Easy install and works just fine. Come here for all of my trailering needs, which is often lol.

  • Which is Better GM Factory or Aftermarket Hitch and Wiring on my 2020 Chevrolet Traverse
I looked up what the GM trailer towing package includes for your 2020 Chevy Traverse, and it gives you a hitch that installs through the rear bumper panel of the vehicle just like our Curt part # CU29FR and a 7-way trailer wiring connector just like our # 118287 we just offer it at a much better price! In my opinion it makes more sense to go with the towing products we offer as it's the same if not better quality. If you wanted to do some towing, you might be interested in etrailer ball...

  • Can Rear Hitch Access Panel Cover Reinstall on 2020 Buick Enclave with Tekonsha 7-Way Installed
The 7-way kit part # 118287 will fit behind the rear hitch access panel of your 2020 Buick Enclave. You might have to bend the bracket back a little bit so that the cover fits over it but that wouldn't be an issue at all.

  • Parts Needed to Add 7-Way Trailer Wiring Harness to 2019 Chevy Traverse
If you wanted to install a 7-way on your 2019 Chevy Traverse without current trailer wiring all you need is the T-One 7-way kit part # 118287 and you'd be set. This plugs right into the trailer wiring port at the rear of your vehicle and will give you a fully functional 7-way. I attached an install video link for this kit for you to check out as well.

  • Trailer Wiring Recommendation for 2020 Buick Enclave
We have two really great and easy to install trailer wiring options for your 2020 Buick Enclave. We have the 7-way part # 118287 and the 4-way part # 118761 which plug right into the trailer wiring port at the rear of your vehicle. If you plan to tow a smaller trailer without brakes you'd want the 4-way but if you plan to tow a trailer that has brakes like maybe a slightly larger camper you'd want to go with the 7-way option.

  • Recommended Trailer Wiring Harness for 2018 Chevy Traverse
For your 2018 Chevy Traverse I recommend the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118287 if you need a 7-Way connector or the Tekonsha # 118761 if you need a 4-Way connector. These are both custom harnesses that will install by simply plugging into a factory port beneath the vehicle on the driver's side (see attached image). I recommend these over the Curt options that are also available for your Traverse because of Tekonsha's reputation for producing extremely reliable products. We...

The Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller # 90195 referenced in your question is an excellent choice and exactly what I would have recommended. There is not a built-in brake controller port on your 2018 Buick Enclave that will allow for installation with a Plug-In Adapter, however all the needed wires should already be run under the dash. • How to Pick Out Trailer Wiring for 2018 Chevy Traverse
We have two options for trailer wiring for your 2018 Chevy Traverse. We have the 7-way kit part # 118287 and the 4-way part # 118761. Basically it comes down to what type of connector your trailer has for you to know which you'd need. If your trailer has a round plug for trailer wiring you'd want the part # 118287 or if instead it has a flat connector with 4 wires ran to it you'd want the 4-way part # 118761.

  • Trailer Wiring for 2020 Chevy Traverse with 7 and 4 Pole Connectors
I do have a way for you to have a 7-way and 4-Pole connector on your 2020 Chevrolet Traverse, but there isn't a wiring harness for your car that comes with both plugs. You can use the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118287, which is confirmed to fit your Traverse, and plugs directly into your factory harness. You can then use the Hopkins # HM40975 in place of the 7-way socket that comes with the harness. The # HM40975 also comes with a mounting bracket to easily attach it.

  • Installing Trailer Brake Controller on 2018 Chevy Traverse
Based on my research it does look like the 2018 Chevy Traverse is equipped with blunt cut wires beneath the dash for installing a trailer brake controller as part of its standard package. To be certain of this you can visit a local Chevy dealer with your VIN and they will be able to tell you exactly what the vehicle was equipped with at the factory or you can simply check the appropriate location inside the Traverse to see if the wiring is present. With that said, you will have two options. First is to go with the Tekonsha # 118287 and use a 7 to 4 adapter, like the Pollak # PK12716.
