Ellen: Hey, everybody. I'm Ellen, here at etrailer.com, and we're taking a quick look at the GSI Outdoors Cascadian Mugs. Now, these are going to be sold separately, but they come in a couple of different colors, including red and blue. So I just wanted to give you an idea of the colors side by side. The nice thing about these is that they're going to be a just easy, comfortable mug to use when you're out camping: lightweight, durable, but they're also recyclable so you don't have to worry about them having a big eco footprint. As far as use, once you're done with them after years of service, you can always recycle these and not have to worry about them just filling up a landfill.
So all in all, a pretty nice kit. There are complete kits for all of your needs, if that's plates, silverware, and all kinds of other stuff here at etrailer.com, so you can check those out.But let's take a closer look at these guys and talk a little bit about the measurements to see if this is going to be the right choice for you. They do hold about 14 fluid ounces. That's about a cup and three quarters, so almost two cups. The handle is pretty comfortable in the hand.
There's a little cutout at the bottom for your pinkie to rest on, or another finger, and should be pretty good size for most people out there. I have kind of average-size hands, I guess. So if you have a hand that's about the same size as mine, should be pretty comfortable for you. Unless you're Andre the Giant, I don't think you'd have had too much trouble using this guy.It is pretty easy to transport, easy to clean, made of polypropylene, so pretty easy to use and keep clean, and should wear pretty well over time. Weighs about 2.4 ounces.
Just to put a ruler on it for some measurements, diameter is about three and a half inches, maybe three and five eighths with the handle. It's about five inches wide, maybe a little bit shy of five inches. Maybe four and seven eighths. Total height is about four inches, maybe just a little bit shy, again, about four and seven eighths. They are covered by a limited lifetime warranty, and that's pretty much all there is to it for our quick look at the GSI Outdoors Cascadian Mugs. I hope this has been helpful in deciding if these are the right choice for you.
Again, the colors are sold separately, but we do have those available here at etrailer.com, along with a lot of other camping and hiking gear, so check it out. Thanks for watching.

The inno bars are great and fast shipping, they work flawlessly with my Thule towers. The plastic mug was an add on to reach the free shipping mark.
Good plastic plates, I've used them for decades. Bur, these arrived very dirty and they have to many stickers.
