Hi, everybody. My name is Andy, with the etrailer.com, and today we're taking a look at Coghlan's stainless steel four piece camping cook set Now, if you're looking for a durable cook set to take on a backpacking trip, to take to your campsite, maybe for a family car camping situation, or even in your RV, this might be the set for you. Let's take a closer look at it. This cook set that is made from durable stainless steel. And as you can see, the pots here have a nice markings for measurement. So that is nice and convenient, and that's on the three pots here, and also they each have, including the frying pan, stainless steel foldable, or I've heard them described as butterfly handles.

And these handles are coated with silicone, provide a comfortable grip when your pot is hot. So you don't have to worry about burning your hand, which is a very nice feature. And again, that is included on the frying pan and each of the pots, and they swing away and swing close for portability. The included lid works not only on the frying pan, but it works on the pots as well. And so, you can use that on each piece of the set, and what's nice, is it does have drain holes, and the drain holes are positioned so they will work on each piece of the set.

So that's really nice. And a nice feature as well is this lid, has a nice silicone, stay cool lid, or knob rather so you don't burn yourself when you're removing the lid from whatever piece here that you are cooking with. Now, just to give you a few measurements, let me move these other pieces out of the way and start with the smaller 1.6 liter pot just to give you an idea here of what we're looking at. Just measuring across, we are sitting at about, let me line that up here a little bit better, we're sitting about six and 3/4 inches wide on the 1.6 liter pot. And when we're looking at the depth, we are sitting roughly at about three and 1/4 inches tall.

And again, that's on the 1.6 liter pot. Moving up to the two and 1/2 liter pot, getting the measurement across, we're sitting a little over seven inches, maybe close to about seven and 1/2 inches across. And then in regards to depth, we're sitting the right at about four inches tall. And then moving to the 3.6 liter pot, the bigger pot in the set, we are sitting right at about, a little over eight inches, about eight and 1/4 inches wide, and, about four and 5/8 inches tall. Now let's jump into the frying pan here, and across, we're sitting right at about eight and 5/8 inches across, a little over two inches tall in depth, about two and 1/8 inches tall.

And then looking at the lid across, we're sitting about eight and 1/2 inches across, just kind of going over that knob. So that kind of gives you an idea of how big this set is. Now, what's nice about this set, that makes it convenient and portable, is that it nest together. So your frying pan is the base, and then you just work yourself up from the 3.6 liter pot, our two and 1/2 liter pot, our 1.6 liter pot, and then the lid goes over all the pieces, and you can see why that's nice and convenient to have these handles fold in on themselves. And then it comes with this nice included mesh bag that just kind of conveniently keeps everything together. On the set that I have here, this mesh bag is a little bit on the small side. So just be aware of that. But it is a nice snug fit. And when you cinch this together, it'll keep them nice and close and tight, however you decide to travel with this, or store this while you're traveling. Now, this set is intended for use on gas stoves, and heating elements. I'm just going to go ahead and remove this quickly from the mesh bag and kind of give you overview of the measurements once we have everything together. With everything together, looking at how tall it is, it looks like it's about four and 7/8 inches tall. And if you want to include that knob, I'm going to call that about, little over five inches, if you want to include the knob there. In regards to width, we're sitting at almost nine inches across, maybe eight and 1/2 to nine inches across, again, just to kind of give you an idea of what it looks like altogether.
