Coghlan's Collapsible Bucket - 1.3 Gallons

Hey, everybody, welcome to etrailer.com. I'm Bobby, and today we're taking a look at Coghlan's collapsible bucket. Now, this bucket has a 1.3 gallon volume, and all we have to do is simply press out from here to go ahead and actually get it to open up. So just like that, there we go, we have our bucket from our condensed form. Now we can go ahead and throw anything in here. The food-safe plastic means we're gonna be safe to go ahead and throw any kind of fruits or food that we want in it.

Gonna make it really nice, too, to go ahead be just a little ice bucket if you guys want. Putting some drinks in it can be great to go ahead and just have around your little folding chair, to go ahead and not have to run to the cooler every now and then, that could be great. Obviously, this is gonna be used in a host of different applications. Can be great, too, just to transport a little bit of drinking water or just water you want to get ready to boil, that sort of thing. To that end, you do have this nice little recessed handle here.

Let me go ahead and give you guys a closer look at that. So right here, you guys can see, my fingers can actually go right in there. It makes it really easy to tilt this, right I mean, obviously, you can have them down here, but you never know when this gets nice and slick, how easy that is to go ahead and pull off. So I feel like we have a little shelf there to go ahead and just help us manipulate the bucket a little bit more. Definitely is nice that we have a little bit of a, just kinda, a little design choice going in there to help make it a little easier to go ahead and transport the things we want into there.

So that's gonna be great. Obviously, condensing it takes no time at all. All we gotta do is simply press down on it. There we go. We have it nice and condensed.

And to walk it out, as you guys saw earlier, all we do is simply push it like so, and there we go, uncollapsed. On the outside, here, too, you are seeing just a little holder. This can be great to go ahead and tie off, that way you have a securance on it. You really we're getting crazy, maybe you could go ahead and screw this somewhere, and then we have a bucket just ready to go. Again, though. it is collapsed, so I don't see us permanently fixing this, gonna be the greatest solution for ourselves. And I don't know why I keep putting this down. I want to go ahead and give you guys the full dimensions here really quick. So, let's take a look at it while it is in this position. You have this nice little lip right here, too, which I do kind of like. Might be a little hard to see there, but there's a little indention allowing that water to run off a little easier. Sometimes when you go to dump these things right out of a bucket, it tends to just kind of spill and get everywhere. Nice to have that channel. That's gonna allow that water, that liquid, to go out of there quickly, which means it won't be contacting the bottom of the lip and then dribbling down here, it'll just simply go out of the bucket, which is great. Well, to go ahead and give yourself some dimensions here. If we are looking at it from the very side here to the top, that's gonna be putting you right around 7 3/8 of an inch, there, for that max height. Now your inside diameter here is gonna be putting you right at about 8 3/4 of an inch for that inside diameter, while your overall diameter is gonna put you right at 10 inches. Now, when this is collapsed, you can go ahead and see how it's gonna store. All we have to do is simply lock it up, get it nice and condensed. And take a look here, that's gonna be putting you right at two inches, at that max. So, definitely gonna be nice. It's not gonna be taking up too much room. I can see this being awesome to go ahead and keep in your RV. You never know quite when you do need a bucket and this has a lot of varying different uses for it, which makes it really nice, really versatile. Now we do have a bigger one here available. I think it's about 2.6 gallons, so about double the size. If you like it, if you're going, "Man, that volume's not really gonna cut it for what I need." And secondly, I always thought these guys would be great for like, you know, just hand washing, wherever you guys might be. There actually is a collapsible sink here from Coghlin's, as well, that is available. So, highly recommend taking a look at that, if you're want for something a little bit more practical in nature, then go ahead and assist with a little bit of washing, 'cause I could see that being great. However, we're not limited to just that use of course, which is nice with this guy. So, it's gonna be great in a variety of different applications, so hopefully you guys have a few little projects you have in mind for this little guy.
