Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com, and today we're gonna take a look at Coghlan's stainless steel five-piece cook set, mess kit. If you're looking for a portable one- to two-person cook set for your outdoor adventures, this just might be what you need. This nesting mess kit is great for cooking small meals on the go and the stainless steel pot and pan are not only durable, but they're easy to clean. And this kit includes a few pieces here. First is this one-liter pot, and again, stainless steel. And let me pull out my ruler here real quick.

The overall diameter is gonna be sitting right at 6 inches and then the overall depth we're gonna be sitting right at about 2 1/2 inches deep. And what's pretty cool about this kit is you've got your pot and then you have your pan, and the pan also doubles as a lid for your pot, so you get two uses out of this pan. And so you've got your pan here to do a little bit of frying while you're on the go. And the pot is a liter, the pan is about half a liter in regards to how much it can hold. And the overall diameter of the pan is sitting right at about 6 1/2 inches, and then in regards to its depth, we're sitting right at about an inch and 1/4 deep.

Now as I'm sure you've noticed, the stainless steel pot and pan both have swing-out handles that have these nice silicone covers over the handles. So you're not gonna be grabbing hot handles and potentially burning yourself. It's gonna be a comfortable grip and those handles are going to stay cool. And then what's nice too, with these silicone grips, is that when you have them folded up against the the pot or the pan, you know, they're not gonna make any banging noises or clanging noises, they're gonna remain quiet. These handles stick out about 4 1/2 inches from the base on both the pot and the pan.

moving over to the plastic mug, this is BPA free. And just to kind of give you an idea of some measurements, measuring from the handle in, we're sitting right at about 5 inches across and then turning it this way, we're sitting pretty close to 4 3/4 inches. This is about two inches deep. So this will be great for drinking from or measuring or taking some water and putting it into your pot or pan, so this is going to serve a number of uses. And then you get this scrubber that's gonna make cleaning this kit very easy.

You have a coarse side to kind of get some leftover food off of your pot and pan, and then you got more of a spongy side there to kind of polish things up, so that's going to be included. And then you have this nylon bag that's gonna keep everything together. So just to show you how easy it is to put everything back into place, you can see, I mean, it really becomes a nice compact unit when you have everything together. And so the overall diameter, including the handles folded up is gonna be about 6 1/4 inches on both sides. And then the overall height, when you have everything together, we're sitting about 2 3/4 inches tall. So then when you're cleaned up and you're ready to go, you can just pop it in this nylon bag. And there is a cord that you can pull to cinch it up, tighten everything up with this cord lock so that will not come loose easily. And you can throw that in your pack, throw that in your vehicle, and you're good to go and everything is together, so you're not gonna have to worry about losing any pieces. So this is a great kit and maybe the only other thing that you would need for eating meals on the go is a cutlery set.
