Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a quick look at this CIPA Sport II Side Mirror. This is an oval side mirror that's going to mount to your personal watercraft or mini jet boat so you can see what's coming up behind you. This does feature a 3 1/2 inch tall by 6 1/4 inch wide convex lens. That's gonna provide a nice wide angle view for you. It does have a ball and socket joint that's going to enable you to adjust the angle of the mirror to suit your preference.
Now it's going to be a very firm ball and socket connection, so once you get it put in place, it's gonna stay there and no matter how many waves you're hitting and that sort of thing. But because of that, it's very difficult for me to show that capacity because I don't have this mounted onto anything. But once you get it mounted in place will be very simple for you to adjust to accommodate your setup. It is gonna be a very simple installation. Will mount to either side of your watercraft.
So you you can also purchase two mirrors and have one on either side to give you even more visibility. The mounting hardware is included. There will be some drilling required, but they do include some very detailed instructions to walk you through that installation process. This does have a safety glass that's housed in this sleek white ABS plastic. This is salt spray and UV tested.
So it is gonna be great for freshwater and saltwater applications. You can see we do also have this black EPDM rubber boot that's gonna protect the arm from dirt and grime while still allowing you to adjust that angle to accommodate your setup. Exactly what I was looking for - straightforward installation, and works well on the water.
Only complaint is they are both exactly the same, so the “Objects Are Closer Than They Appear” is right side up and at the bottom on the left mirror, but upside down and at the top on the right mirror. It would be nice if they sold “left” and “right” versions so the text was correct in both.
I received exactly what I ordered. The order was tracked and I got it when they said I would. All along the process someone was watching over the order as well and communicating with me all along. Customer service is what these guys understand.
mirror was on machine when I bought it . Mirror got broken needed to replace exact same product . Very pleased with service and product
