Today, we're going to take a look at the Taylor Made 15 inch diameter inflatable Tuff End boat fender in the white color. Now, this Tuff End boat fender is designed for larger boats. This one's recommended for boats that are 60 feet to 70 feet in length and these are a heavy duty seamless construction. They are vinyl construction, which will withstand even the most punishing conditions. They have the injected molded ends here for the high strength and the curve design of the ends up by the rope area prevent any chafing of your rope when it's attached to here. The ends are also reinforced.
They're tested to 2000 PSI tensile strength. The rope eye diameter on both ends right here, the opening is one and a half inches.Now, this can be inflated with a high pressure air pump or air compressor. Now, these do not come inflated when you receive these. So, they do need to be inflated. Recommended inflation is two PSI.
These do use an inflation valve and it is a patented tri-valve design. So, it does require a decent amount of air pressure to move the air through the valve so that it escapes the positive check valve, which is in the bottom of this valve and that'll allow the air to go into the fender and fill up. The hole where the air escapes into the buoy is on the side of the valve tube underneath that check valve. So, higher air pressure helps that air escape out the hole and fill up the fender. That's why they do recommend to use a high pressure air pump or air compressor.This is a white color.
It is made in the USA, but again, the specs on it, the diameter on this is 15 inches. The total length end to end is 41 inches, but that should do it for the review on the Taylor Made 15 inch diameter inflatable Tuff End boat fender in the white color.
