Jeff Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at the five piece color coded torque limiting extensions. Now these extensions will install to your half inch impact wrench and they'll help apply torque to the correct tolerance. And prevent over tightening of your lug nuts. Just wanna zoom in here and show you one of them.
You can see this end here is what'll snap in to your half inch impact wrench. Put your socket on to that end. Now these extensions make very quick and easy to torque your lug nuts. And it's always recommended to finish checking the torque with an accurate hand torque wrench when you're done. And the way these work is they're a different thickness.
And they work by reading the torque resistance of the nut or the bolt. And they'll start to deflect when that torque range or that extension is reached. And you can see each extension will have it stamped on here. Like this one says 110 foot pound. And they have a color ring here.
They are color coded for easy identification. Basically the force coming from the impact wrench is absorbed and then it's no longer transmitted to the nut and the bolt. These are a nice heavy duty chromalloy construction. We mentioned the color coding on that for easy identification. Basically, they'll start off with the smaller one.
And that's the black and that's a 75 foot pound. And then you go up to the next one which is the yellow. And that's a 80 foot pounds. The red would be your 90 foot pounds. And then the blue is your 100 foot pounds. And the last one is the orange which is the largest. It's the 110 foot pounds. The length on these is about seven and five eighths inches long. And you can see what's nice is that these can all be stored and carried in this nice hard plastic storage carrying case.
