Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com, and today we're gonna take a quick look at FloTool's capless gas tank funnel. This capless gas tank funnel is designed for adding fuel additives or gas from portable containers to capless and restricted fuel tanks. And the flat spot here allows use with CARB-compliance spouts and we have a hole here to allow easy storage, so you can hang this on a nail or a hook or a peg not only for storage, but also allowing this to dry. Let me pull out my ruler here just to give you some overall measurements so you have a good idea of the size of this. We're sitting at our overall length of 7 inches long overall, and the diameter on this end, gonna be sitting right at about 7/8 of an inch. And then looking at the measurement of this funnel looks like we're sitting at about 3 inches long and the widest point, line that up a little better for you, about an inch and a half at it's widest point.
And obviously this is a bright yellow color, so it's gonna be very difficult to lose, but all in all, I think it'll last you a good long time. This tool should have come with my Ford Taurus, but at least I was able to purchase one from you. It is very good. On occasion a warning light comes on after I fill up the gas tank at a station saying the cap is not sealing. I simply put this tool in and out a few times and that solves the problem. Also, I am able to add fuel or additives now by using this great product.
This is a great product for the price and is a must to have if you have a capless gas tank in your car. Recently we had a gas shortage in our state and only regular gas was available, my car only runs on premium gas and it was necessary to add octane booster to my tank. This capless gas tank funnel worked well adding the booster to my fuel tank, it is a must have item to have.
Purchased the Flo tool Capless Gas Tank Funnel for technicians in all my companies franchises and they have been extremely satisfied with the quality and the function of the item.
Perfect for my needs
Super easy install, test plug shows I don't have a left binker for the trailer. But that's another issue.
