These wireless, removable tow lights make it easy to add brake lights and turn signals to your towed farm equipment. Other tow lights require you to run cords to connect the lights to the front of the towed vehicle. The wireless design of the Lite-It agricultural lights eliminates the need for you to tap into existing wiring during installation. Each unit is individually serialized to prevent interference and cross talk between other electrical units. To power the light simply connect the radio-powered transmitter into the 7-way socket on your farm implement.
Agricultural equipment can create a significant road hazard, especially when you're traveling at night. These tow lights make your farm equipment street legal and visible by providing stop, tail, side-marker, clearance, and turn functions. The units are also equipped with amber strobe lights to ensure your equipment is visible from up to 1,000 feet away on the road.
The included 12V DC charger lets you charge the lights with the DC accessory socket in your vehicle. The green indicator light on the back of the unit shines when the lights are charging. The lights are powered for up to 30 hours of use on a full charge.
The 2 power switches on the side of the lights allow you to turn the lights off when you're not using them to conserve the battery. The bottom switch operates the amber strobe lights, while the top switch operates the brake lights and turn signals. The LED side-marker lights and amber rear-clearance lights automatically shine when the unit is on. These lights ensure your farm equipment is street legal by making it visible on the road.
The magnetic base on each of the lights attaches to most metal surfaces with the built-in magnets that offer up to 120 lbs of pull. Because there are no straps to secure the units, you can easily move them from one piece of equipment to another. The magnets are rubber-coated, so the base will not damage your equipment's paint during installation.

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Custer Lite-It wireless LED agricultural lights. This system is great for your agricultural equipment. It can be used on other equipment as well, or other applications. It's going to help increase safety as you use or move your equipment on the road. The farm lights use the most recent technology to provide maximum sight distance. The two light boxes can be attached to any steel or metal surface using the included magnets on the bottom.
These are going to feature 120 pounds of pull. The magnets do have a protector, or rubber like coating, so that way they don't damage any of your equipment. Each box is going to feature a full stop and turn signal, tail light, and the appropriate marker functions. You can see, here, that on the side of the box we're going to have this top light, here, that acts as a side marker. We're going to have a marker light, here on the back, our clearance light. It's a really nice design.
Very easy to see. It's a full LED system. The light here, on the bottom, is a charging indicator light, and then below that you're going to have the charging port. That's going to be the same setup on this light, as well, and on this side you have the rocker switches. Now, when setting this up, you want to make sure that your rocker switches are inward, and that the amber lights, right here, are outward. It's also going to feature rear facing amber strobes, so those lights are controlled by the bottom rocker switch, here, and they'll strobe when that is activated. The set is FCC approved and Department of Transportation compliant.
Now, this is a plug-and-go type system, which makes it easy to connect and disconnect. You could also unplug it from one application and in just a few moments you could have it completely set up on another application. The seven-way connector plugs into the seven-way port on your equipment or vehicle. It then sends the appropriate signal to the boxes, and it does it wirelessly, so it's a wireless design, wireless system. Transmission distance is up to 1,000 feet with a clear line of visibility.
The units have been individually serialized to reduce the possibility of crosstalk between other units. Again, it is a full LED system. The unit's going to feature a 10 hour to 30 hour run time, depending on charge and conditions. It's going to come with a charger that plugs into the cigarette outlet or 12-volt accessory outlet in your vehicle. This is a split wire design, so that way you can charge both boxes at the same time. The battery on each unit is specially designed so that it cannot be overcharged, which is a really great feature of the unit. When these aren't being used, go ahead and have them plugged in and charged, and you don't have to worry about that battery becoming overcharged. Now, all the lights, internally these are hard-wired with shrink connectors, so they're going to be protected from the elements. The unit's made in the USA. I'm going to take a measurement of just one box, 'cause they both measure the same. It's got the nice carrying handle on top, too. Makes them easily transportable. It's going to get us a length measurement of about 13 inches. Height measurement, just measuring the box, is going to be about four and a half inches, and then the width measurement, just measuring the box, is about three and three quarters of an inch. Now, what I want to do is I want to go ahead and hook it up to power. I do have an external power source. We need to make sure that our lights are on, which we have a power switch on top, there. We turn the power switch on, and then I'm going to take my connector and I'm going to move it over here, and then we'll send through this appropriate signal, that way you can see what it looks like. This is your tail lights. Now, when your tail lights come on, you can see that the red light illuminates. You're going to have your side marker illuminated, and you're going to have the rear amber light illuminated. Then, when we apply our brakes, I'm just going to do one light at a time. You can see how that increases the light output on that unit. Now, because of my setup, I'm not able to do both brakes at the same time, or simultaneously, but obviously when this is hooked up to a seven-way that's wired correctly, your brakes would come on at the same time. Here's what the turn signal would look like. Let's go ahead and turn off the overhead lights so you can see it a little bit better. Again, you've got tail light, side marker, rear amber light. You can see the brake output and turn signal for that particular one. I'm just going to show you that on one side, 'cause it would be the same for the other. Then you can activate strobe, as well. Really neat, very versatile light system. That's going to do it for today's look at the Custer Lite-It wireless LED agricultural lights.

2 Weatherproof LED agricultural lights provide signal lights for your towed farm equipment. Wireless design eliminates the hassle of running cords every time you tow. Rechargeable battery with 12V DC socket. Magnetic mount. FCC and DOT compliant. The batteries don’t last and the connectivity can be an issue on longer equipment. Nice size and idea but they just are not worth the cost.
These lights work great! In this day you can’t be too careful and the LED lights add so much visibility to rear of what ever you are towing and to not have to worry about wiring issues or connections. I leave the transmitter plugged into my gooseneck connection inside the truck bed all the time and use the bumper connection for the trailer. Slap these on for more lights and if trailer lights are malfunctioning I just disconnect them. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
These are great!!! I have bought 10 of these for my employees and buying more soon. Trailer wiring issue????…….no problem. Put one on to get it back to the shop or the added safety or just more lighting!!!
Always great service and what I might consider novelty items but very useful!!!! Always looking forward to next package to arrive!!! Best place to buy yours needs and wants!!!
The wire less package I purchased works great. One light went dead after only 30 minutes of use. But e-trailer had a new on it’s way out the same day I informed them of the problem. I use them for towing. There for I’d like amber light be the same size as red light. The small one is not as bright as id like. It was taking us 15 minutes setup our wire lights an 20 to remove an store them. Now it takes less than 2. So yes they work great. no regrets.
Very well built and every thing to be expected and then some has great range solid building material really good quality lights. Transmitter is 7 round flat so rv style plug has to be used but outside that perfect for mobile home toters .
Very well constructed and work well.
It was GREAT!
