Standard turnbuckles have to be manually tightened, which can be a bit of a chore. TorkLift FastGun handles eliminate this difficult step. Just hook one end of each turnbuckle onto your camper and hook the other end onto the camper tie-downs that are mounted to your truck's frame. Then, to tighten the turnbuckles, flip the lever-action handles down - it's that simple. Pins are included to secure the handles in place, ensuring that your tie-down system remains tight and secure. For additional security and peace of mind, use TorkLift's FastGun pin locks (TLS9500 - sold separately) in place of the pins to more effectively lock the system down.
When you reach your campsite and you're ready to set up, just remove the pins (or locks), and flip the FastGun handles up to release the tension on the turnbuckles. With the tension released, you can quickly and easily remove the turnbuckles, activate your jacks, and set up your camper. This quick-disconnect feature is also great if one of the attached turnbuckles covers your truck's fuel tank door. No need to manually twist an older style turnbuckle and remove chains to disengage the entire system. Just pop the FastGun handle up, unhook the turnbuckle so you can move it out of the way, and fuel up.

These turn buckles secure your camper to the tie downs mounted on your truck.Now two additional turn buckles are required to secure all four corners of your camper. This part number comes with two. They have the lever action handles that make the turn buckles easy to operate, allows for a very fast and easy setup so if you have one of the secure points going over the fuel cap of the vehicle, this makes getting to that quickly and easily the next time you need to fuel up without having to do a lot of work to unscrew or remove a turn buckle from the vehicle and camper.It has a spring loaded design which helps to reduce stress on your tie down points so the spring loaded design is a very desirable feature with these products. Also, in the kit, you can set up a little O-ring so it has a spring tension indicator on both the driver's and passenger sides which allows for simple set up every time.Also, it's lockable for security. It does come with the pin and clip that can pass through here but you can replace the pins and clips with locks so it is lockable for security, keyed alike locks are sold separately and available at Etrailer.com.We're looking at a high end impact stainless steel construction.
It's very durable and rust proof and then we have a really nice bright white powder coat finish on it. This kit includes everything needed for the installation. I needed the quick release turnbuckles due to the fact that the fuel fill door was located directly behind my standard manual turnbuckle. The fuel fill door only opened about 50 degrees and I did not want to scratch the paint on my new truck.
Great turnbuckles. High quality material. However for nearly $xxxx they should be perfect. one of mine came with chips in the coating and one of the rivets was not fully seated and had come with scratches all of the way though the coating on the inside of the lever. There was not enough clearance for the rivet to clear the lever, they just closed it and called it good??? Quality control measures are coming up short. Unfortunately I don't have the time or desire to get a replacement so now I have to deal with the small defects. For that price it would be fair to say that they should ship in perfect condition. This is my second set of these and the first ones had similar issues.

useful and easy specfically like the ease to refill the truck fuel tank
My Fastguns arrived today and I was immediately impressed with the quality craftsmanship. These are some serious turnbuckle! My customer service rep, Kate, was awesome. She provided excellent professionalism, knowledge of the product and followed up through the ordering and shipping process. I'll update my review just as soon as I try them on my new frame mounted set up.
The welds on the inside of the Fastgun were not cleaned well. This made assembling them difficult.
I purchased two more fast guns and they are welded and cobbled together. I want to return them. Tork lift should be embarrassed by this quality leaving a USA factory.

Dee - 07/24/2022The front torquelift camper mounts for my 2017 ford f150 supercab 6.5 bed required grinding resulting from interference with bed/frame mount. Lower shackle mount did not line up. Rear mounts installed with no problem.
Have had these for a year now. Used electrical tape to water proof the covers. So far so good. They are a quality product and I would recommend these to anyone that wants to protect their investment.
So much easier than any other tie down product Especially Good choice for those whose strength is waining
These are engineering marvels. These will have you in and out like a seal team! no [messing] around twisting and turning with trying to tighten things down or loosening up. Especially if its blocking your fuel door. Just unhook fill up rehook and book!
These are nice pieces of hardware and work great but I do think they're overpriced for what it is.
