This is a low tech item (a key), but since I don't think Thule makes the same model bike rack anymore I was apprehensive that I would be unable to find a replacement key for the hitch mount. I was pleased that this key fits perfectly and now I can remove/remount the bike rack as necessary. BTW, I got my Thule bike rack from eTrailer and was very pleased.

This key didn’t open my Sportrack Kayak rack. The keyhole says 009. Eek help !

Discovered eTrailer after an extensive search to find a key that would unlock the roof rack of my 2011 Mini Cooper Clubman. Was happy to see that their keys fit perfectly! I noted the number off the key lock was 009 and ordered THKEYN009. Search no longer for a key to these racks. Call the service team at eTrailer and they can get a key for you, at a great price, and you won't have to wait long before it arrives.

Please note that the original keys that came with the SportRack systems were slightly shorter than the replacement options are. There is a notch inside the lock core that may inhibit the replacement key from fully ing into the lock core. When you receive the replacement keys you may need to tap the key into the lock core with a rubber mallet to fully the key. This only needs to be done the first time you use the key.

I wanted to reach out to you in regards to your review on the replacement Thule key. You mentioned in your review that the key was not the right size and I have a few questions that I would like to ask. Was this for a Thule product? If so is there a number listed on the lock?

Since it is a Sportrack part I can tell you that the original keys that came with the SportRack systems were slightly shorter than the replacement options are. There is a notch inside the lock core that may inhibit the replacement key from fully ing into the lock core. When you receive the replacement keys you may need to tap the key into the lock core with a rubber mallet to fully the key. This only needs to be done the first time you use the key.

I bought this hoping it would fit a Y002 branded lock cylinder on a Harbor Freight universal roof crossbar. It did not. No fault of the seller, I knew it was a gamble. There is obviously more than one brand of lock cylinder with the Y002 designation.

I had a SEARS SPORT 20-SV (roof top cargo carrier )with lock numbers 2818 right above where you insert the key. I just added the letter (N) before the. So I ordered N2818 and it worked perfectly!! Two day shipping was right on time.

Poor customer service requested a key replace a few weeks ago never received it shipped out another never provided a tracking number for the 2nd one. Customer answered the phone didn’t bother to provide it either but you taken my money with no problem but yet no key. Terrible service and people skills I hope in the fitugff

- Replacement Key for Sportrack Lock Core 600 or 009I think I have the correct key but what's going on is most likely that you are reading the lock core upside down and you have the lock number 009 which means you'd want key replacement # THKEYN009. There isn't a key number 600 available.
