Replace a missing Thule key with this equivalent part.Works perfect for my N142 locks on my 19 Transit Connect rack that I lost the key for.
It was a key, and it worked just like it was suppose to. The best part was the very quick shipping. I will use etrailer again and again.
Best place to find replacement keys for 2004-2009 VW Touareg luggage racks. Just look at the lock as it will have the code number for the key on it. etrailer which sells the Thule replacement key uses the same code.
Super quick shipping however the keys did not work for my car carrier. Luckily I found the keys before our trip.
I received the product I ordered promptly.
I also needed help finding roof basket clamps for a 2007 MINI. I sent an inquiry and Conner L immediately replied and is helping me find the correct product.

I bought this hoping it would fit a Y002 branded lock cylinder on a Harbor Freight universal roof crossbar. It did not. No fault of the seller, I knew it was a gamble. There is obviously more than one brand of lock cylinder with the Y002 designation.
They did a great job communicating and letting us know when it shipped, and making it easy for us to track during shipping.
I had a SEARS SPORT 20-SV (roof top cargo carrier )with lock numbers 2818 right above where you insert the key. I just added the letter (N) before the. So I ordered N2818 and it worked perfectly!! Two day shipping was right on time.
The key worked thats for the excellent service will tell my family and friends.
Worked for my 1989 VW GTI's roof rack. Very nice that you can still order older keys for older Thule units.
