  I called my contact at Thule and they informed me that the Replacement T-Bolt part # 853-6511 is an M6-1.0x92 bolt. Unfortunately, we do not have a t-bolt longer than 92 mm at this time. For the barrel nut you can use part # 853-0446-06.

  Since I can't recommend one way or the other whether or not your wooden cargo box would be safe on the top of your vehicle travelling at highway speeds all I can tell you is that the M6 knob part # 753-0783 that you referenced would require an M6 T-bolt like part # 853-6511-02 for a 64 mm bolt or part # 853-6511 for 92 mm.   The length of the # 853-6511 is 3.62 inches. From the picture you submitted it looks like your current T-bolts are 2-1/2 inches. With the # 853-6511 you would pick up about an inch in length. This T-bolt would have the same basic dimensions and would fit the same tracks of a roof rack so it could work for you. In case you need the barrel nut as well you would want the part # 853-0446-06.   We do have a couple of M6 bolts that are longer than 80mm which may or may not work for you depending on the application. First we have # 853-6511 which is an M6 x 92mm but not threaded the whole length of the bolt. We also have # 919611054 which is an M6 x 110mm which has a threaded part that is even less than the 92mm bolt. If neither will work for you then the best option is to find an M6 bolt locally at a hardware shop.
