Jeff: Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a look at these tailor-made stainless steel flat mounting brackets for gas struts for a quantity of two brackets. Now these are a nice flat mounting bracket that'll install inside your boats hatch, and they provide this attachment point for your gas strut. Basically the strut itself, the socket on it will attach to this 10 millimeter ball on the bracket. These brackets are rust-proof stainless steels, they're excellent for freshwater and saltwater use. Now the mounting screws to install these is not included.
The mounting hole diameters there's three on each bracket is three 16ths of an inch. The ball diameter is 10 millimeters.Give you a few dimensions on this. The width of it, the widest point is right at the top here, so if we measure that it's right at two and a quarter inches, the height on it, that's going to be right at one and a half inches tall, and this is for a quantity of two brackets.
