What's up everybody It's AJ with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna be checking out this Shocker hitch accessory. It's gonna bring the ball up two inches, so you don't have to get a whole new assembly just for a two-inch rise. Let's check it out. Wanted to show you side-by-side why this is a good idea to get if you need that two-inch rise for adjustment. We have our Shocker Hitch XRC right here.
It's a dual-ball design. You see how it comes out flat. Even if we flipped it around, it could only go so high. This, in the same position, if I set it right there, is gonna give you that two-inch rise. So now, let me just swap out the accessory, and that's really gonna help if you got a new trailer and truck combination that you need that adjustment and you don't wanna buy a whole new ball mount.
You can just get this accessory, easily swaps out with your pins and your clips. I'm just leaving the clips out since I'm showing you quickly, that you got that two-inch rise, now. This accessory's gonna work with the Shocker Air, XR, XRC, and the Impact series ball mounts. Looking at the assembly of the accessory, you see how it's got these points where you put a wrench in here to help hold the nut, that way you tighten it down way easier. Definitely wanna make sure you torque it down before you use it.
It does come with a two-inch ball on this accessory as well which there is also a 2 5/16 inch version. You can check out if that's what you need. With the two-inch ball on here, you're gonna have a gross trailer weight rating of 10,000 pounds and you're also gonna have a tongue weight rating of 1,200 pounds. Overall, I think this would be really helpful. I like that I can just swap in an accessory if I need that two-inch rise.
I don't have to get a whole new ball mount or anything. This is gonna be good to go, it take up less space in the back of the truck, and be there when you need it. Well, I think that does it. Thanks for hanging out and hope this helped.
