Hey everyone, I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com. Today we're taking a quick look at the wheel tray replacement for your Sarah's bike rack. There's going to be two different styles. The difference between them is how they're angled. This is going to be wheel tray A. We do also have wheel tray B here at etrailer.com.
If you need to pick that one up you can find it using that part number there and that's going to allow you to replace that wheel tray if it got cracked, damaged or broken off and be able to use your Sara's bike rack without having to get a whole new unit. As far as the orientation for this wheel tray you can see that it's angled down like this. It attaches onto your bike rack using that little knob to tighten it down around the support. If you need the support that's going to come in and fit your wheel like that this should be the one that you need.If you want one that's tilted the other way then that would be wheel tray B. This works with tire sizes up to two and a half inches in width.
It's made in the USA. It's going to have those same colors as the original and it also comes with that strap already installed. Works just the same way as that original wheel tray. Push in on that little button strap should come out. Put it into the buckle and once you get that fed in you can pull out the strap at the bottom to tighten that around your wheel to help keep it in place.
Since it is newer it's going to be a little bit tight but it should pull through and allow you to tighten that down. That's pretty much going to do it for our look at the replacement sliding wheel tray for your Sarah's freedom bike rack. Tray is embossed with the letter "A."A wheel holder on on my Serius bike rack cracked and would no longer hold the bike wheel as securely as I wanted. My husband and I bike together a few times every week and I really needed the bike hitch to got to our bike trails. This company was so easy to use online helping me to find the correct replacement wheel tray. I only had to wait ten days for the replacement. It was a perfect fit. My hitch used a yellow screw tightener and the new one had a gray one but the parts were interchangeable.
Not many people could manage to reverse their car into a post and crack one of the mounting brackets on their Saris bike carrier, but if they did ....... etrailer staff were so helpful and came through with a replacement. No judgment!
Hi - someone is always clipping the wheel holders on my back rack so I like to keep a couple of these on hand. You guessed it - someone clipped my bike rack and broke the bracket so I ordered 2 more. Came super quick. Would be 5 stars if the brackets both cost the same amount for some strange reason they are different prices.

Still love the rack - easiest loading bike rack I have owned. Be prepared to replace the wheel holders if you drive a lot on bumpy roads. The bolt securing the holder to the rack ripped out. Note to company make the bolts a little longer and put washers on them and they will last longer.
An excellent rack for transporting my e-Bike. Just came back from Maine drove 1,700 miles with bike securely held in place.

They had the wheel trays we needed to repair our hitch-mounted Saris bicycle rack. The trays that hold the wheels get fragile with age (2 years of hard use) but it's a very good rack for lighter bikes. My 35 pound hybrid bike was a bit heavy for the rack which contributed to the wheel trays breaking down. I would still recommend the rack for lighter bikes.
The replacement sliding wheel tray for my saris bike rack arrived in a timely manner as advertised. Great price. Tray included strap and yellow toggle bolt. Very pleased with purchase. Bike rack works like new!
Two days prior to a bike trip, my bike rack got dinged by someone parking.
