Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a brief look at this Roadmaster Guardian Second Vehicle Kit. Now, this kit includes all of the necessary hardware that you are going to need to connect your Guardian Rock Guard to another vehicle, making a switch between vehicles very easy. So this kit can be used as replacement hardware if you had some hardware that got damaged or misplaced. Or, like I mentioned at the beginning of our time together, this can be used as a second vehicle kit if you want to just have the capability to move your rock guard to another vehicle, while keeping the original hardware on the original vehicle.
So this kit includes everything that you see here. You're going to receive these two mounting brackets, these two thumb screws that I have loosely screwed into these brackets, and then the four bolts for installation. And also a set of instructions to walk you through that installation process. Now, this is directly from Roadmaster, so you're not gonna have to worry about compatibility issues, fitment issues, or anything like that. This is going to be exactly like the original hardware that you have.

Was easy to install and has worked as expected. No issues and I was very happy dealing with etrailer.
Item appears to be just what I ordered and arrived ahead of timelines. Doesn’t get much easier!
Product is as advertised. However, you might share with Roadmaster that since this is designed as a “second” setup for the shield, not providing the nuts and washers is a “fail” in the packaging. I could see in advance in the photos no nuts were to be included so I went and purchased what I needed.
Also, from your side with shipping, having the package get close via UPS was nice, but having them hand it off to USPS was lame and caused another delay in delivery. Beyond that, etrailer has always treated us well and provided the products we need at a fair price and when a helpful video is necessary your team is awesome.

I mounted the two brackets with Stainless Steel self taping hardware on the back bumper of my motorhome. The measurements were made and one bracket was installed with the thumb screw removed from the brackets. The second bracket was placed on the Guardian Stone Shield and the Shield dropped into the first bracket. Alignment was easy and mounting holes were marked on the bumper for the second bracket. The second bracket was removed from the Shield and the second bracket was mounted with one self taping bolt. The Shield was installed and aligned and the second self tapping bold was installed. The two Master Locks were placed in the holes of the Stone Shield to prevent theft when the Motorhome is in storage or parked at a site. The brackets took 20 minute to install. Now when we disconnect the tow vehicle from the Motorhome, the Stone Shield and tow brackets are immediately stored and ready for the next travel. The Stone Shield did not compromise visibility to the tail lights or impact our Falcon 2 tow bar storage.
Received items today Friday and was delivered by usps. All was great and liked the tail light wiring. Makes it a lot easier to install. The roadmaster base plates fit very well. Thanks Bruce
ETrailer has just about anything that you may need for your hitching requirements. I found what I wanted without any problem (Roadmaster Guardian 2nd vehicle Kit RM-4000-1). My parts were shipped via ground. I received them within 5 days of ordering them. Thanks.
I try to do all of my rv shopping with etrailer and I am usually quite satisfied. I was disappointed when I ordered my cross bar assembly and quoted 6-8 weeks delivery and then received it from [online] in 2 days out of a fairly good stock of them. I know stock may be difficult now but supply lines for current equipment need to be maintained.
This is the third set I have used. I really like the shield and these make it easy to set the shield in place. I used them on the rig and on the stow away

they work great. I changed to a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee and had the dealer switch over. Still work perfectly. Using them again in Oct.
I searched the internet at several sites, including Roadmaster. Etrailer.com found what I wanted and shipped it sooner then expected. As soon as I finish here I am ordering another product from them.
Just what I needed to hold the Roadmaster rock guard for a second vehicle. Just like the originals. Even came with longer the bolts needed for the installation.
I use these on my tracker tow vehicle and have never had a problem

I still use this on my tracker all the time have not had any problems with it at all
