Speaker 1: Today, we're gonna take a look at the 1/2" by 20 zinc plated replacement nut for trailer suspension U-bolts. Now this replacement nut is designed for use with 1/2" diameter U-bolts. It helps secure your trailer's axle to its leaf springs. It can also be used for other applications. It is a zinc plated steel construction. It's heavy duty and corrosion resistant.
It's ideal for use on boat or snowmobile trailers. The size, again, the diameter's a 1/2" by 20 threads per inch and the head size or the socket that fits on this is 3/4". That should do it for the review on the 1/2" by 20 zinc plated replacement nut for trailer suspension U-bolts.

Sturdy, zinc-plated steel is corrosion resistant, making it ideal for use on boat or snowmobile trailers.When I called etrailer to order replacement nuts for the MORyde shackle bolts they sale because i could not fine them on their web site.The rep said no problem and took my order. When I got the the order description, I noticed that they were for u-bolts as described above. I emailed the rep back to question and the rep's reply was "they are listed that way, but they also work for the shackle bolts". Of course, they are not for the MORyde shackle bolts.
U bolts appear to be zinc and not galvanized but I'm told both resist rust. We will see as I use them in salt water

While these lock nuts will work with the wet bolts from the MORryde, I reached out to them to find the part number that they use. Turns out that they use part # 006-092-01 from Dexter in their suspension hardware kits. I will have our Customer Service team reach out to you.
