Today we're taking a look at the enhanced lighting controller for REDARC monitoring gauges. This lighting controller lets you adjust the brightness of your REDARC monitoring gauge. It's ideal for applications with no dimming circuit or when your vehicle does not dim the gauge to your liking. You can actually program your nighttime brightness and the color of your gauge with this unit. So the gauge will change color when your headlights are turned on and then revert back to daylight color when the headlights are turned off. It does include the dimming adjustment if connected to a dash dimmer.
Only one controller is required for multiple gauges.Hard wiring is required. You'll notice here we have the wire ends. All of these splice into the gauge or gauges as well as the vehicle wiring. The input for operating voltage is 6 volts to 16 volts. A few measurements to go over with you real quick.
Measuring edge-to-edge it gives us a measurement of 2-13/16 inches going this direction. Edge-to-edge going this direction is about 2 inches. Bottom to top is about 1 inch. The mount holes on this unit are separated apart from one another on center by about 2-5/16 of an inch.
