Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at the six-foot-long extension cable for the OptiMate AC to DC battery chargers and solar charging systems. Now, this is a six-foot extension cable that'll let you extend your SAE connection for extra length when you're charging your RV, boat, or motorcycle. It does use the SAE to SAE style connectors which are compatible with AC to DC chargers and solar charging kits. Also, if you look at the SAE connectors, the metal portion here, they are gold-coated contacts.

That'll improve conductivity when you plug in your connections. And also, the durable connectors do stay flexible in low temperatures. They have a temperature rating of up to negative 40 degrees Fahrenheit. This cable is rated for 10 amps of continuous use. And if you notice this part right here, this extra part, this is a weatherproof rubber inline seal for use in harsh environments.

So when you go to make your connection, you'll put this over that first, and then you'll put your plug in there. And when your plug goes in there, it'll actually give you a nice seal to keep any elements from damaging your connection.
