Hey, everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer, and today I have the replacement keys for your Lockrack water sport carrier. With your carrier, you're going to get four keys. And these keys are used to adjust the arms of your Lockrack. So with this key, I'm able to turn this and take the arm out. And now I can load the kayak or canoe, or in other cases, surfboards and paddle boards. But you might encounter a situation where you lose or damage these keys, and that's where the replacements come in handy.

Inside your key, you will have a number. In our case here it says BV.27.05. It's printed very small, but they are on all four keys. If you have the correct keys, you'll be able to insert it into your carrier and turn the key to push this lever in. If you have the wrong set of keys, you won't be able to push that whole key in, therefore, you won't be able to engage that lever.

Your carrier will arrive with those four keys. So what I recommend doing is you only really need to use one. So I would put the other three in safe locations. Maybe one inside your glove box, one inside your garage, another maybe in the back of your vehicle, and then you can thread the fourth one onto your key chain. So if you lose one or damage the other, you'll be able to look at that number.

If you lose all of them though, your only solution is, when you get your carrier, write down the number of those keys and put them somewhere safe so that you can get the full replacement when needed.
