Can Handle of Lasalle Bristol Valve be Extended for Easier Access
LaSalle Bristol valves like the # 34466N5A have extension rods you can install on them like with the part # 34466SP116734 which is 67-3/4 inches long or part # 34466SP1136 which is 36 inches long. There isn't a cable kit that would fit this valve though.

How to Make 54 inch Long LaSalle Bristol Waste Valve Extension
While we don't have a 54 inch long waste valve extension you can use the 36 inch long # 34466SP1136 with two of the 9 inch extensions part # 34466SP1109 and you'd be right at 54 inches. Then for a black handle you'd need the # 34466IHANDLE.

Valterra Waste Valve Extension For Extending Approximately 55" in Length
I do have a suggestion which will make things easier for you. You can use the Valterra Waste Valve Extension Tube # TX32HPB which is 32" long with a 24" Extension # TX24HPB to give you a 56" total extension. This will eliminate the need to cut the Extension Rod for LaSalle Bristol Waste Valve # 34466SP116734 and then tap the aluminum tubing. Both the Valterra and LaSalle use 1/4" MPT threads for their extensions and handles.
