Speaker 1: Today we're going to be taking a look at the replacement power cord for Kat's Heaters frost plug block heaters. Now, this is just going to be a replacement three prong cord for your Kat's Heater. This will also work with any other 120 volt block heater that has a three prong plug. You can see that we've got the female end there with the three holes, and then the other end is going to plug up into your 120 volt AC outlet. That can be routed through your grill to get plugged in there.Now, this does replace that frost plug style engine block heater from Kat's Heater. Part numbers are KH11483, KH30217, or KH30214.
You can find those here at etrailer.com. This is CSA approved, and it's also made in the USA. The voltage is going to be up to 120 volts, wattage up to 1,200 watts, or 1,200 watts, and bridge is up to 10 amps. The total cord length is going to be five feet, and the gauge is going to be 18. view full answer... - Engine Block Heater for a 2019 Chevy Colorado without Thermostat There are two different versions of the Kat's Heaters Custom Engine Block Heater part # KH11484, one with a thermostat and one without a thermostat. If you have a bulge in the cord then you have one with a thermostat. In order to disable the thermostat feature you would just simply need to replace the cord with part # KH28500 as I can't recommend you modify the one you have now. When GM designed the block heater for this vehicle, they placed the thermostat outside of the engine block...

Well if you have a diesel then you know that plugging that thing up in the winter time is a must. I had to order the plug and this is exactly what I needed.
