Michael: Hi there I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the eye bolt kit for your Inno Roof Deck Platform Rack. This is going to provide tie down points for securing your loads to your platform rack. These are a solid stainless steel construction. So they're going to be very strong, hold up well. They do have a black powder coat finish on them to help resist rust, corrosion and scratching.
So they're going to do a good job for you, and they are going to work specifically with the Inno Roof Deck Platform Racks, but the T-track that they'll slide into, these bases are right about 3/4", which is pretty universal for most T-track slots. So these could potentially be used in other situations, but your other T slots might not be as durable as that roof deck.So keep that in mind when deciding if these are going to work for you or not. But they're very simple to get installed and just put them into the slot and slide them where you want them to be, to line up with your equipment. And then you can just twist them down. And that's going to pinch the sides of that T-track so that they'll stay in place, be a solid attachment points for your bungee cords or other tie down straps.
As far as our dimensions go, the inner opening of the eyebolt, I'm going to say it's right about 3/4". And then our outer diameter, we're going to call it about 1 1/4". So not very big, but still plenty of room for you to get your bungee cords or other down straps attached so that you can hold down all of your gear.These do come with a lifetime warranty, as well as all of the hardware that you're going to need to get these installed. So with that lifetime warranty, if you we're to have any problems with these, you could give us a call and we'd help you out with that. But I really don't think you're going to have any problems with them.
They're very solid. They seem like they're going to hold up really well and do a good job for you. Just allowing you an easy place to hook up to, to make sure that everything is going to be secure.
