Tech Tip: The OEM plug in your vehicle is located under the dashboard to the left of the steering column.
This brake control wiring adapter will simplify the installation of your Hopkins electric brake controller. Once the brake controller is installed, the harness then plugs into a port under the dash. Because your vehicle has a factory tow package, all the wires for the brake controller have already been run from the 7-way trailer connector at the back of the truck to the plug under the dash. If your vehicle does not have a factory 7-way, additional wiring will be necessary to complete installation.

Awesome product. Small and unassuming yet works well. I bought this brake controller simply because i just didn't want to see a box attached to my dash. And I received exactly what I was hoping for. Yes there's still a box, but it's attached to the kick panel under the dash as opposed to being directly on the dash. Highly recommended.
