Still great after a year

I recently camped and found that the location of the hookup at the campsite required that I have one of these adapters to extend my trailer line with a 30 amp extension cord that I just happened to have. I borrowed one similar to this from a fellow camper and went to my "go-to" vendor to purchase one. What I received was of excellent quality. Much beefier that the one I borrowed, even though they both were rated at 30 amps. One of these and one with the opposite male female configuration and a 10ga extension cord will save you a lot of money by eliminating the need to purchase a 50+ foot RV cord that could be close to $100 if not more. I was asked to review this item within an hour after it was delivered, and was still in my mailbox. So I have no idea how it will perform. It looks nice, though.

According to the labeling attached to the cord, it will carry 15 amps maximum, not the 30 amps suggested. That will limit its usefulness. I was led to believe by the product description that it would carry 30 amps. Nope.1117927

The wording on the description explains a little better than the wording on the title of the product page. 15-Amp female end connects to your RVs 15-amp power plug. 30-Amp male end plugs into a 30-amp receptacle.
