Husky Brake Controller Install Harness Recommendation for a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee
Question:
i have a husky quest brake controller and i need the wiring conector that match both the jeep and the brake controller. is this the match for this particular one too. HM53035. THANKS

The Hopkins brake controller wiring harness # HM53035 will not plug right into your Husky Quest brake controller. But you could still use it even if the end that plugs into the controller is not compatible. You would simply cut off that end and hardwire the controller to the harness. From our understanding Hopkins makes the Husky brake controllers, but they change the connectors so this one won't plug right in.
The wire functions for the Quest controller and the harness are white for ground, black for 12 volt power in, blue for output to the trailer brakes, and red for input from the brake switch.
