Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the replacement switch kit for the third brake light camera on the Ford 4.2 inch factory monitor. Now, this will replace the switch kit that allows you to toggle between your truck bed camera and your factory backup camera. It is designed to work with the kit part number FRDVRK360SW-K1. That system we do sell separately on our website. This does require a 4.2 inch factory monitor.
Basically, the switch kit installs by connecting one end of this included T-harness into the factory plug behind your radio and the other end into the back of your radio. A power wire, right here, for your flip switch will run to a 12-volt accessory power and allows you to control by using this switch. Has an on and an off, so I'd flip it up for on, down for off and then the cable, right here, this will plug into your new brake light camera. Does come with a nice set of installation instructions that'll describe how this hooks up. But that should do it for the review on the replacement switch kit for the third brake light camera for the Ford 4.2 inch factory monitor..
