However, to be on the safe side, I recommend Derale Thermostatic Sandwich Adapter, # D25782. It will work with engine thread filter sizes 3/4 inch-16, 13/16 inch-16, 18 mm x 1.5 mm, 20 mm x 1.5 mm, and 22 mm x 1.5 mm. And fits O-ring sizes 2-3/4 inches or 3-1/2 inches. So it basically covers anything that could be on your Suburban.
