Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this Derale straight hose fitting. This is going to allow you to hook up your hose with a half-inch inner diameter to your heat exchanger, your spin-on engine adapter, or a remote oil filter. This does have the half-inch MPT threading here that's going to fit into your half-inch MPT female inlets. And then, you've got your half-inch hose barb that will fit into that half-inch inner diameter of your hose so that you have that nice solid connection. Of course, you will need to use a hose clamp to make sure that your hose stays in place.
You're not gonna have to worry about any leaks or anything like that. But if you are looking to replace or add a half-inch MPT male, half-inch barbed straight hose fitting, this is gonna be exactly what you need. That completes our look for today.
