Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. And today, we're gonna take a brief look at this Derale thermostatic sandwich adapter kit for GM applications. This high-quality, die-cast aluminum, thermostatic sandwich adapter with half-inch NPT ports is going to provide external lines for a simple installation of an oil cooler without having to reposition your oil filter, allowing oil cooler than 180 degrees to bypass your heat exchanger, ensuring a quicker engine warm-up. So, this is going to install between your stock engine oil filter landing and your oil filter so your stock filter is retained. And this has an engine filter thread size of 13/16 of an inch by 16.
And this includes everything that you see here on the table before me. You're also going to get a 13/16 of an inch by 16 sleeve nut and this O-ring. And the O-ring measures 3 1/2 inches in diameter. And of course, this is just going to slide through there. And then your O-ring is going to go right there.
And then, as you've no doubt already seen, we are going to also get two of these half-inch hose barbed fittings. Let me turn this around the other way. And these are just going to screw right in as you can see right there and these fittings are aluminum. Now, the thickness of the adapter itself, sitting right at 2 1/4 inches. And that's going to conclude our brief look today.
I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me..
