Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com, and today, we're gonna take a look at this Derale Thread-In Thermostat Fan Control with Dual Threads. This automatic thermostat switch is going to let you control your electric radiator fan. When the fluid temperatures exceed 180 degrees, the fan turns on to provide more cooling. And if the temperature drops to 165 degrees, the fan is going to stop saving power. Now, as you can see, this does include two different size thread-in probes to fit your specific application. You're going to get the 3/8 of an inch NPT probe, and then the 1/8 of an inch NPT probe.
A relay harness is sold separately, and that may be required for fans that draw more than 10 amps. This has a maximum capacity of 15 amps, and this is made here in the USA and this includes everything that you see here. And it also includes this instruction sheet to help you through the installation process. Well, that's going to conclude our brief look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you.
Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me..

Control the electric radiator fan with this automatic thermostat switch. When fluid temperatures exceed 180 degrees, the fan turns on to provide more cooling. If the temp drops to 165 degrees, the fan stops, saving power.Perfect Control for my new motor and radiator in my 69 C10 pickup. Does an excellent job, I have it wired to a relay and runs both of my fans and turns them on and off at desired temp.
JUST RECEIVED THE PART AND IT LOOKS JUST AS EXPECTED! HAVE NOT TESTED IT YET, I WILL ON SATURDAY THE 8TH.
I got the thermostT installed but it is not constant on the temp on and off. One time it may come on at 170 deg. (should be 180) the next time it may come on at 160 deg. It will turn fan off after cooling off about 5 deg.regardless if what temperature it comes on. As of now i will give a very poor rating. I may try to do some modifications to make some improvements.

Thank you for the review. Please Check all connections to make sure all contacts are crimped correctly and that the Ground - connections are on bare metal. Check the wire going to the Thermostat Switch too as this wire should be connected to a 12V Positive switched ignition source. If your fan draws more then 10 amps you will need the relay harness that I have attached.
